Give the Tag a name of your choice, PPC Protect MP for example and select "Custom HTML" as the tag type.
Paste the script provided by PPC Protect into the HTML section. An example of the script is below:
Next, we want to choose the trigger on where to fire the script. We recommend firing this on all your pages in order to see all your traffic however you can select only certain pages if you wish such as landing pages.
Publish the new changes you have in the Google Tag Manager dashboard to complete the setup
Adding URL Tagging (Bing Example)
From the collapsible menu on the left, select All campaigns > Ads & extensions > Extensions.
Select an existing ad or create a new ad.
In the Final URL text box, type the URL using the format: www.yourDestinationURL.com?ppcp_platform=bing The strings are not case-sensitive, must include the opening and closing braces, and cannot be used in the ad’s title, text, or display URL. The variable is a name you define. It should be the name of a variable used in your company's website scripts to identify the value that the parameter is returning. The parameter comes from the list of parameters and tells Microsoft Advertising specifically what data to return when an ad is clicked.
